.: Reunited! ~ The Legacy Continues :.

Journal Entry: Sun Mar 15, 2009, 5:52 PM
.:RECENT NEWS / ART:.

Deviation Version

After a very long 3 years of inactivity I am very proud to announce that “The Legacy” Comic is back in production. I have reunited with screen writer Donovan Eberling and we are again pursuing the goal of making the story come to life. For all of you following Luna, I am sad to say that it has taken a back seat for now as it is impossible to keep a coder long enough. I have lost 3 coders in 3 years and just can’t deal with it anymore. For now I don’t ever see the possibility of Luna starting up again. The good news is “The Legacy” is a project that is attainable and I don’t have to rely on anyone else to get there. Donovan already has a solid script to work with. Thanks for the support! Maybe later when Donovan’s schedule calms down I will post an interview with him on here. If you have any specific questions you would like me to include just note me. Stay Tuned!~

My Comic 2004-Present

This is the current comic project I am working on with the screen writer Donovan Eberling. It has been a real blast designing the characters and sets. I will add more info on this later. We hope to be at the next San Diego Comicon.

My Side Scrolling RPG 2006-2007

UPDATE 3/15/2009 this project is on hold indefinitely. It is too hard to keep a coder long enough to make any ground. Thanks for looking and for all the support we had on the project.

Sincerely,

KingLith(Daniel Gill) &

Dan Reynolds

My Shooter 2001

:halfliquid:

This was my first attempt at making a real game. I programmed it entirely in QBASIC. I even did the graphics in DATA format. If you know what that means then you’ll know how hard that is. It is kind of like drawing ASCII art blindly, but it turned out pretty good. I would say the hardest thing for me was programming the artificial intelligence for the team mate. I can remember being so proud of myself when I had finished it because I struggled through the coding part and the limits of QBASIC. If anyone is curious to know, I used screen 7 so I could get really smooth graphics but you have to sacrifice for the 16 colors. That can help explain some of the color choices I made. The game itself is finished and is fully playable off of the following link, but it only runs in MS-DOS. DOS-box emulator can help.

I figured I should stop by and say hi. I was just reading about your old shooter Vetronex, and I can't believe you coded the sprites in DATA. That's crazy AND amazing.

Kagome, Kagome, the bird in the cage,
When will you come out?
In the night just before the dawn,
The crane and the turtle slipped
Who stands behind you now?
